I’ve been working on a complete brake overhaul on mine…shiny new rotors. Wheel bearings cleaned and degreased . Not pictured: shiny new calipers. Also not pictured: I think something in the power steering sprung a little leak when I turned the steering (without the engine on… is that a dont-do? Both wheels were off the ground)

i can’t imagine there’d be any issue with turning the steering with the engine off, maybe a fitting or something came loose.

That oil filter looks so out of place.

I didn’t think so either. I didn’t have time to investigate, probably some 30 year old crusty hose or seal.

Right. It actually doesn’t look to be in too bad shape back there except I think one of the calipers leaks a little and the hand brake doesn’t work. I’m trying to decide if I want to leave it alone or have my Jag mechanic drop the subframe and do suspension overhaul too ($$$$ probably)
